For this week's question cycle you may read letters from any of the blogs. Be sure to include the class along with the name of the author you are questioning. Ask tough questions of the letters, they're going to the President and they are about your financial future therefor they have to be sharp.

My question is for Michelle Tsvitman. You said retired people should get their retirement benefits without tax. What if the tax that they help pay for the environment and city? If they remove the taxes and the environment turns worse, they might blame Barack Obama.
[Alvin's comment for this blog]
my question is to Andrew Yee,
Andrew says that If there are 90 days to pay up the money, the people might have enough time to return the money owed, instead of being kicked onto the streets with no money.
My question is if they borrow money in the first place then what do you think they would have moeny to pay for the debts.
My Question is for Andrew Yee.He Said "I feel it is very important because it is not fair that people borrow money from a bank to buy a house, and then if they don’t pay it up in time, they would lose their home".
The banks gave loans to those who can't pay back.Isn't this a reason that there is an economic crisis?
My question is for Shareena Austin. What if citizens take the ability to borrow money from retirement homes as an advantage? As in an advantage to retire earlier without paying taxes. This could be a problem if it does happen. If this happens then there will be less things being sold or made. Everyone would retire once they are around the retiring age.
My comment is for Andrew Yee. If there were 90 days to pay up the money owed like he says, then people might not have the money to pay up in that short amount of time. If they did they probably wouldn't need to borrow from the bank in the first place.
Justin Yuen said I think you should have the bank’s money supervised so that it is used wisely. The whole economy is like a cycle. We need the banks to reinvest back into the cycle.
What if a person makes a loan for $100,000 for his/her own reason.
And what if the person has a really close friend/relative.and is super rich and can help pay of the loan. But what if the supervisers make a mistakes and don' know about the person and prevent the loan from happening and the man had everything planed out, now what, it is because of them that his loan is cancled so bassicly they can interfere for unececery reason. So, I don't think that is reall a good idea unles you change it.
Ian, andrew said If there are 90 days to pay up the money, the people MIGHT have enough time to return the money owed, instead of being kicked onto the streets with no money.
My question is for Nick. You said that you think that it is unfair to tax people who receive loans from the government to buy things people need to survive. If the government dosen't tax them, then what would happen if the unemployment rate went up and more people lose there jobs. The government will be giving out more money and they wouldnt be getting anything back. What they would then probably have to do would be to raise the taxes even higher on people that can pay taxes. That would then cause another problem.
my question is for Andrew Yee he stated that "its not fairthat people borrow money from a bank to buy a house, and then if they don’t pay it up in time, they would lose their home". there are 90 days to pay this borrowed money up. The reason they borrowed this money is because they had no money in the first place to pay for what they want thats why they need at least 150 days
My question is for Ian Mankes in class 724. He said that if the banks get agency to handle the bank’s loans and closures it will keep the bank from making bad decisions. If the money is being handled safely, are the banks going to use that money for the economy? Of course money shouldn’t be wasted or be used for the wrong reason. It should be used wisely.

My question is for Andrew yee Andrew says that if there are 90 days to pay up the money, the people might have enough time to return the money they owned, instead of being kicked onto the streets with no money.
My question what if they don't pay it back on time and what if it is a big loan how will they pay it back in such short notice? and don't you think the bigger the loan the more days they should have to pay it off?
My question is for Aexander Riveron of 724. Can we be sure if a $3,000 tax credit is enough? And what if America`s unemployment rates won`t change at all and America stays the same? That would be a problem.
My question is for Alexander Riveron in class 724. I kind of agree with the $3000 tax income but this will not encourage that many people. My question is how will it encourage some people? and some people dont have that skills meaning that they might not get in? what if the jobs overflow then less money will be given to the people in those jobs? They will probably leave because this to much work right? Then business will fall creating less it all leads up to another fall. Do you agree?
My question is for Susana Liang from class 702. Susana stated that "I think we should communicate with other countries and make peace and love, this way we would have no wars and no terrorists and etc. No one gets killed or harmed and we would feel entirely safe in our country and soldiers wouldn’t be drafted off to war and soldiers would be killed and families would be upset and terrified if we try to communicate and be friendly this way we could make a whole world of friendship, love, and peace." What are ways that we can make peace with other countries & how can this help with our economy?
(Brian's comment for this blog)
My question is for Ian Mankes. You said " By taxing that money, the government is taking back the money it gave you to live on. That seems unfair to help Americans out and then take some of the money back." If they don't give tax they won't make money and go broke. My question is if the government didn't give taxes, what would happen to all the restaurants, shops, etc
My question is for Joseph Bocchino. He said "President elect Barack Obama must improve our economy when he is sworn into office. I agree with Barack’s proposals. It will cost $175 billion dollars. I think if it will improve the economy, it is worth a shot. His plans will provide 95% of working families’ tax relief. According to Barack Obama, he must get the economy to a certain point where we will not owe money to other countries. He also said that a $1,000 rebate will be given to needy people. He will also create jobs by taking away capital gains in banks to create more jobs. He also will make jobs by making different jobs that focus mainly on the science of greenhouse technology. I think if Barack Obama is willing to put the effort in to save our economy, I think we should give it a chance. All we can do is hope for the best from our new president, Barack Obama."
My question for Joseph is what if the plan doesn't work? If it doesn't work, it would be $175 billion dollars wasted. That is our citizen's hard-earned money being wasted if the plan doesn't work.
My question is for Andrew Yee you said that the people have 90 days to pay up the money owned back to the financial institution.
Noticing what is going on on the market right now if say a person borrowed a 500,000 loan given what is going on in the world how will this person pay their monthly mortgage? Do you think this was a smart move for this person to make? Why or Why not?
My question is for Andrew Yee, Andrew said "If there are 90 days to pay up the money, the people might have enough time to return the money owed. My question for him is what if they have been back on the mortgage for several months and they can't pay it because the amount of money owed is too much? How will they get their home back and avoid a foreclosure? Your statement is being referred to people that have the money and can pay within the 90-day moratorium, what about the others they will be faced to see their home owed by the bank and forced to live on the streets?
My question is for Alex_Ciardullo from 727. She said that you should give bailouts to car companys with affordable and/or energy efficient cars. Don't you think that other products should be affordable like food? And should other people get bailouts? By the way, not many people sell affordable and/or energy efficient cars so not many people might get bailed out even though many people need it(that if you mean only car companys with affordable and/or energy afficient cars can have bailouts).
My question is for Imani Clarke of 702. She said that the car industry should invent cars that run on corn or special herbs instead of using gas for cars. My question is that what will happen to all the gas stations and workers? They won't be able to do their jobs and they won't have any work or money.
My question is to Elizabeth Sangazheiv. She stated "I think that we need to find a way for banks to stop selling loans & start making better decisions"."
My question to her is if people stop taking bank loans wont that make people with no money and therefore people would be homeless.I think that people could have bank loans if they really needed them but theres no reason to completely stop bank loans.
Rinaldi Wasembeck in class 702 stated his ideas that he thinks Barack Obama should consider putting into his proposals. He thinks that America should make their own materials instead of buying them from other countries. He also thinks that America should start making cars run on solar energy so there wouldn’t be so much pollution to the earth. He also thinks that America should tax people who are rich. Finally he said Obama should make a peace treaty in Iraq because more and more people are fighting for such a ridiculous war and a lot of money is put into this war. So that is a bad crisis. Now, my questions for Rinaldi are the following: Don’t you think these ideas would be very costly? First of all, if we make our own materials instead of buying them from other countries, then we would have to pay more money because we need to buy the materials our self and that would also waste time. Also, even if we can make cars run on solar energy, how can we afford getting all cars to run on solar energy? If we tax more money on richer people, then it wouldn’t be fair to them because the rest of the world doesn’t have to pay for taxes and they do? What if they go bankrupt because of a business failure? Then, they won’t be able to pay the taxes. Also, if Obama wanted to sign a peace treaty with Iraq, it doesn’t mean that Iraq wants to sign the peace treaty with Obama. They probably just want to keep on fighting.
My question is for Alexander Riveron of class 724. He said,"My idea for a propasal is to create a job to help the environment that also has good enough pay so people can efford houses cars etc." Dont you think that the government would have to tax people to be able to create this new job, which would cause people to get less pay and wont be able to afford new houses, cars, etc?
My question is for Michelle Tsvitman. She said that people that borrow money from their retirment money should NOT get a tax penalty. Most of the things that happen in america are payed by the people with tax. If everyone of the nations citizens, if thease citizens cant pay there taxes or fail to we can grow deeper in an economic crisis because there will be a lack of school money, techers will get fired for not enough money puposes. Some students might even have to pay for a public school. Besides schools there are so much more activites that need our tax payment. If a person does not pay tazes that may be a problem. But proposing that they pay less taxes or are given a small period of time before they should return to there usual tax payment would be great.
My question is for Michelle Tsvitman. If takes were cut off,it would help Americans easily pay off their dept. But the schools are already in a huge budget cut. There won't be new textbooks for kids to learn from. Police men and firemen won't get paid. Taking away taxes will makes our economy worse. Maybe lowering the taxes would be a better choice for the United States.
My question is for Aexander Riveron of 724. Can we be sure if a $3,000 tax credit is enough? And what if America`s unemployment rates won`t change at all and America stays the same? That would be a problem.
Alex D. said that President Obama's proposal to tax the wealthy more than the middle class is a bad idea because the wealthy class may decide to protest and raise their prices if they own companies, which will end up harming the middle and lower classes. My question for Alex is: do you think the wealthy class has a bigger responsibility to pay more taxes if they have more money? People in the middle class make an average of $100-$150,000 each year. The wealthy class makes millions of dollars. Even though there are many more people in the middle class the money they make each year to live on is much less than the amount people in the wealthy class may make. In other words, I think the wealthy class can afford to pay more taxes if they are making a lot more money because they won't feel it as much. What do you think?
My question is for Andrew yee Andrew says that if there are 90 days to pay up the money, the people might have enough time to return the money they owned, instead of being kicked onto the streets with no money.
My question what if they don't pay it back on time and what if it is a big loan how will they pay it back in such short notice? and don't you think the bigger the loan the more days they should have to pay it off?
