Step 1- Read all the comments from the previous assignment.
Step 2- Choose one comment which is thoughtful.
Step 3-
First, paraphrase the comment you are responding to: For example: “Mr. Bello thinks that…”
Then, write a question about the chosen comment. The question must be: clear, sincere, useful and be the sort of question which leads to more questions. The question you write must complicate the comment’s argument, make the reader of the comment you are questioning think deeper. Stir up some intellectual trouble

victor96 said that King Phillip might have started the war for land and power. What other reasons he could have started that war for?
Tina Brodnikova said "Perhaps the Europeans did not share the land because of the fear of losing land, culture and ideas and therefore the Natives would steal and make ideas better. Also Natives could later steal the power from Europeans." My question to Tina is what do you think the Natives would do to steal the power from the Europeans if proved that the Europeans had more advantages?
Michelle wrote that- The europeans weren't the type of people at the time who would share .They were greedy and selfish people. All they wanted was the land for themselves and no one else.Maybe they also feared of losing their land to the Natives. The Europeans wanted to protect their land and culture and therefore no one could share the land with them.- My question to michelle is: so if it was the native americans land then why did the europeans fear of loosing it. Wasn't it the natives land. How could the europeans loose something they didnt even own?
Miriam Avrutin said that the Europeans believed that the land belonged to them because it was written in the bible. She also says that both stories said to share the land. However, the bible said that man should have dominion (power and control) over the sea, fish and all living things. The Indians believed that the land belonged to God and that they were suppose to protect it. How could they actually share the land if each believed so strongly in who had the right to the land and how it should be controlled?

my question is to michelle_tsvitman, she says that the Europeans were greedy and selfish people. My question is if the Europeans were greedy and selfish then why would they trade with other people? My second question is why would the Europeans fear the Natives if they know that the Natives didn't have as strong weapons as them.
My question is for Henderson Cole.
He said "More reasons might be that they were afraid that if they lived with the natives, they might steal there power and/or know how to beat them easily and might run them out of America and maybe take over Europe and the Europeans might have been very greedy and wanted alot of land and riches." How would the natives steal the power if they lived with the Europeans?
Tina said "Perhaps the Europeans did not share the land because of the fear of losing land, culture and ideas and therefore the Natives would steal and make ideas better. Also Natives could later steal the power from Europeans." Didn't the Europeans think that they were superior to the Native Americans? And since most of them did think that they were superior, how could the Native Americans make ideas better?
Anaya said that the Europeans did not want to share and only wanted land and gold. My question is, was gold and land the only thing that the Europeans wanted to keep for themselves? Are there any other reasons why they did not share besides their greed?
My comment is for /kenneth. He said that the natives were weak. Some tribes were considered fierce by other natives. Your saying it from the point of the Europeans.
This answer is for tina. The Natives might steal their power if they lived with them because since they live with the Europeans, they would get to use the advanced weapons(guns, etc.) and maybe run them out of America.
My question is for Justin. He said that the native americans saw the Europeans as inhabitants. What if that wasn't what they thought of the Europeans as? What if they thought of them to be intruders and tried to bribe them off the land with kindness? The natives did do several attacks to the Europeans according to my research.
Michelle wrote that- The europeans weren't the type of people at the time who would share. The europeans were always greedy. To prove my answer the Europeans took the indians land and killed most of them. The europeans are just like a baby, they always get what they want. Also the Europeans wanted everyone to be cristian and no other religion thus can not be trusted

Elizabeth Sangadshiev said "They wanted more than they had and they probably thought that since the natives are weaker people, they could just take their land and the Native Americans couldn't do anything about it." My question is Couldn't the natives trick the europeans? It doesn't matter how weak they are it just matters how smart you are.
Anaya Previlor said "When the Europeans arrived the Native Americans thought that the land was to be shared but that was the last thing on the Europeans minds." My question to her is didn't the natives want the Europeans to leave? The natives gave the Europeans gold hoping that they will leave.
Alex Riv said...The Europeans were looking for more wealth and land. The natives tried to make peace with the strange people, but the greed of some Europeans made them try to take the land. The Europeans that went to the New World could have been people that were on depth. They might have wanted to start a new life. Because of that they needed ways to make money. They did not intensionally want to steal land all they wanted to do was to pay off there dept.
My comment is for Oznur Gul. In Oznur's comment for blog#6, she said that the Europeans only saw the Native Americans when he arrived there and they weren't ruled by a government. The Europeans thought they were more superior than the Native Americans. So they wanted to take the land. But the Native Americans didn't know that the Europeans were planning on taking all the land. They thought that if they gave the Europeans some gold they asked for, they would be satisfied and leaved. But they were mistaken. The only reason is because the Europeans were too greedy like many human beings today. Now my question to Oznur is Why do you think the Europeans thought that they were more superior than the Native Americans? Also, do you think the Native Americans would've gotten back their land if they knew about it at first?
My question is for Kenneth. He stated "The Europeans And the Natives didn't share the land because the Europeans were greedy and wanted it all.
The natives thought that if they gave the Europeans some gold, that they will leave them alone. This was not the case. The Europeans thought the natives were weaker people. My question is why did the Europeans think that the natives were weaker? Were they prejudice?
Tina wrote "Perhaps the Europeans did not share the land because of the fear of losing land, culture and ideas and therefore the Natives would steal and make ideas better. Also Natives could later steal the power from Europeans."
Why would Europeans have fear of losing land if they have more power and advatages than the Natives? In that case the Natives woulc be pushed off land because of all the power the Eurpeans have.
Sade stated that The reason why the native Americans and the Europeans didn't share the same land was because of the difference in religion. The native Americans believe in gods.
My question is what does believing in gods have to do with sharing land?
My question is for Michelle T. You said that the Europeans had fear of losing their land. How will the natives take Europe if the Europeans had a great advantage and they knew about it? Did u mean take over the land that they might have shared?
Elaine Chan asked the question "Why couldn't the Europeans and Native Americans live in peace together"?
My question for her is how does she think if the Europeans and Native Americans got along would that change things for us now? Would it have effected us?
tina said that the eueropeans feared they would lose the land but didnt they think they were better and couls take the land if they wanted to
